This year’s Salons follow the development of LUNARIS, a performative-cinematic multiverse by Andrea Božić, Julia Willms and Billy Mullaney | TILT created in collaboration with the Premonitions Agency — a specufictional organization that collects citizens’ dreams and intervenes in them to influence waking reality.

The LUNARIS world spans performances, installations, and a growing dream archive, exploring intersections between spectatorship, imagination and digital transformation. Drawing from dream logic, gameplay and quantum theory, we approach dreams as cultural archives where social, political, and philosophical tensions take on “dream-logic” form.

About the session:
Dream Archive: Live Collection is a performative dream-collecting session. Several Agents guide the dreamer to embody, navigate and visualize it, separating dream image from dreamer’s subjectivity. Each session is live, unique and improvised. Participants may join actively or simply observe — no dream recollection required.

This edition features a dream by Victoria Perez Royo, followed by a discussion on her research and curatorial project Dreaming Communities. 

The project reflects on data collection practices disguised as personal growth, while offering a playful, embodied way to engage with dream realities.

Salon 2 — The Agony and the Ecstasy of American Football as Enthusiastically Explained by Billy Mullaney

The Agony and the Ecstasy of American Football as Enthusiastically Explained by Billy Mullaneyis an improvised dialogue where Billy frantically attempts explaining the interconnected and often abstruse rules and culture of American football to Julia as she drinks wine on the couch. Perhaps less about football and more about the aesthetics of languages and knowledges, TAATEOAFAEEBBM is Billy’s latest dispatch from ongoing research into gushing as a contemporary mode of verbal address. We’ll go for a couple hours and then completely legally catch a 7pm game.

Salon 3 — The Premonitions Agency: Open Doors
 13 December 2025

For our final Salon, we open the doors to the Premonitions Agency’s premises and share the artistic research conducted behind closed doors at the TILT studio in the preceding month.

Studio Kelder 1 is beschikbaar vanaf 1 februari 2025 in broedplaats voor (podium)kunsten Marci Panis, gelegen aan de Marcusstraat 52 in Amsterdam.

Marci Panis
Marci Panis is een vereniging voor mensen die werkzaam zijn in de podiumkunsten. Het gebouw omvat 30 studio’s, repetitieruimtes, een kinderopvang, een gastenverblijf voor kunstenaars, vijf woningen en een restaurant. Alle leden van Marci Panis dragen bij aan het onderhoud van het gebouw en de gemeenschap door een actieve rol te vervullen binnen het gebouw. Van alle leden wordt verwacht dat zij deelnemen aan verschillende commissies (zoals bijvoorbeeld boekhouding of onderhoud).
Let op: het is verplicht om tijd te investeren in dit soort taken, om de vereniging en het gebouw te helpen onderhouden en verbeteren.

Studio Kelder 1
De studio is 56,33 m2 en bevindt zich in het souterrain, vlakbij de kelderingang. De studio is te bereiken vanaf de straat via een onsteile trap. De ruimte heeft een hoog plafond en enige lichtinval vanaf de straat via hooggelegen ramen. De ruimte is te betreden via een gemeenschappelijke schuifdeur met kelderruimte 2.

De ruimte heeft een stenen tegelvloer en is gelegen naast de lift. In de ruimte staat de liftmachinekast van de lift van Marci Panis, deze kast dient te allen tijde bereikbaar te zijn door de liftmonteur. Deze heeft ook een sleutel van de studio. Er wordt gezocht naar iemand die vaak aanwezig is en de Nederlandse taal goed of redelijk beheerst, omdat er ook met de liftmonteur gecommuniceerd dient te worden.

Bijzonderheden:

• De liftkast en afvoerbuizen zorgen voor omgevingsgeluiden in de studio, de liftkast slaat aan wanneer in gebruik.
• De studio heeft weinig daglicht, maar is dichtbij de gemeenschappelijke tuin van Marci Panis gelegen.
• Tevens is er een werkplaats op dezelfde verdieping.
• De onsteile trap en brede deuren maken het makkelijk grote dingen naar de studio te verplaatsen.
• Er zijn toiletten en een gemeenschappelijke keuken op de eerste verdieping.

Kosten
– De kale huur bedraagt € 330,22 (excl. BTW) per maand.
– Maandelijks betaal je een voorschot aan servicekosten, deze bedraagt momenteel € 130,29 (excl. BTW) per maand.
– Inleggeld: € 20,- (per persoon, per maand)
– De borg bedraagt twee maanden kale huur (€ 660,44 excl. BTW) + een sleutelborg à €50 per set sleutels.

Inleggeld
Maandelijks wordt door elke huurder € 20,- ‘inleggeld’ betaald. Dit kan worden terugverdiend door het uitvoeren van werkzaamheden voor de vereniging, bijvoorbeeld door zitting te nemen in het bestuur of commissiewerkzaamheden te verrichten.

• Een beschrijving van je professionele praktijk en dagelijkse werkzaamheden

De interviews voor geselecteerde kandidaten zullen plaatsvinden op maandag 16 december 2024. Zorg ervoor dat je op deze datum beschikbaar bent om in aanmerking te komen.

Let op: Alle huurders zijn lid van de vereniging Marci Panis en moeten een btw-nummer hebben (met uitzondering van schrijvers).

Studio 3A will be available from the 1st of December 2024 onwards in Broedplaats voor (Podium)Kunsten Marci Panis, located at the Marcusstraat 52, in Amsterdam.

Marci Panis
Marci Panis is an association for theatre and visual arts. The building includes 30 studios and rehearsal spaces, a nursery, a guest house for artists, five residences and a restaurant. All members of Marci Panis contribute to the upkeep of the building and community by having an active roll within the building. All members are expected to participate in different committees (e.g., accountancy or maintenance). Please note that you are obliged to invest time in tasks like these, to help maintain and improve the association.

Studio 3A
The studio is 23,86 m2 and located on the third floor, at the frontside of the building. 

Please note: the attached photos are from a similar studio. Studio 3A does not have a built-in attic. Visiting the studio before the selection interviews is not possible.

Rent: € 136,48 per month (excl. BTW, € 165,14 incl. BTW)
Service costs: € 88,14 per month (excl. BTW, € 106,65 incl. BTW)
Inleggeld € 20,- (per person, per month)

Deposit: € 272,76 (excl. BTW)
Key deposit: € 50,- (per set of keys)

Inleggeld
Every month, each tenant pays € 20 ‘input money’. This can be earned back by performing activities for the association, for example by taking a seat on the board or carrying out committee work.
